Louis and Carol Gordon experienced an amazing transformation in their marriage when they gave their lives to the Lord in 1980 (Carol) and 1981 (Louis). They had been married 24 years when they were saved. They continued to seek His wisdom and direction in the “honeymoon of healing” that continued for another 22 years. Louis moved to Heaven in December 2002.

They saw on-going restoration in their children’s lives as well. Their vital prayer life and relationship with Jesus bubbled over in ministry to others. Now, after over 21 years of full-time ministry, Heart Menders is well known for our teaching resources, powerful personal ministry, and emphasis on the love of God to transform the lives of hurting people, no matter how broken or dysfunctional.

Louis and Carol wrote “THE CHILD HEART” book, the “BODY BASICS” book, and have an extensive library of printed, audio and video teaching resources that we make available to the Body of Christ around the world via our Web store.

Carol continues to write a monthly newsletter, the HEART BEAT, sent by e-mail and regular mail. She broadcasts on KTOK AM 1000 at 7:00 each Sunday morning (www.ktok.com). Heart Menders has weekly ministry meetings every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. Carol recently authored another book, “MARRIAGE IS A GIFT.”

Her son, Steve, his wife, Karen, and a team of seasoned ministers assist Carol in the ministry.
